In one of my other Law Enforcement class I came across this article and it was basically Chicago Police officers in the South Side, and West Side of the city, were riding around picking up people who were potential criminals, or had information to criminal activity, and what these officers would do was they would take these people to a abandoned building where these officers had set up a torturing ring. The main objective if this facility was to bring people in, beat them, starve them, until they would give up dealers, meetings, gang members. Some people would even be tied to a cage and they would be forced to pee and poop on themselves. What these officer were doing was a horrendous things because it is not only a violation of their 8th amendment, but these people were basically kidnapped, forced into things they probably did not do, and made them snitches.
